You will be missed. We shared DC days and Baylor days. I don’t think I ever remember a time when I was around you that you didn’t make me smile and laugh. That is how I will remember you with a big smile, love for everyone, a pilot, a DC FBC preacher’s kid, a DC Mustang, a Baylor Bear, a husband of my college roommate, a dear friend and gone too soon. I know you were so loved and will be greatly missed by your family.  I will remember our fun times at church with a smile. One story you told me in the past few years that I will always remember is the time you wanted your car to look like a hot rod. Andy Townes tells the story best.  "He loaded the trunk with rocks to make the front sit high and the rear sink down. It was in that little Falcon. Later, Brother John went and opened the trunk to put something in it and started calling for John David for an explanination. Funny stuff."  I celebrate your life JD. It was well lived and you leave precious memories with all of us.
